PulsePoint Technologies is an information management solution provider for the health-care industry and is located in Southern California.

     This CGI application written in Perl was used to poll the operational status of a large number of sites administered by various facilities. This application was used to schedule polling of facilities and to select locations administered by a facility. The results of the poll were processed and displayed in the form of a periodically updated news ticker.

     Facilities could be added to or deleted from the current list from a password protected Admin menu. News items or poll results could also be added to or deleted from the news ticker contents in real-time.
